Untitled[edit]

Amy Balliett has initiated a movement that is leading to a national day of protest against Proposition 8 in every state in the union as well as other countries. She has been interviwed in the Daily Kos,http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/11/12/181416/41/992/660052, and mentioned by name, by Andrew Sullivan, http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2008/11/the-future-of-1.html, as well as many other blogs and websites too numerous to mention. Googling her name leads to more than 39,000 hits.

None of this by any means provides a definitive argument that she is notable, however she is certainly not a candidate for speedy deletion. If nothing comes of this then I have no problem with a deletion, but could we at least wait just a few days to see if this is clearly newsworthy and notable.
