Birth date?
[edit]The intro says "Born June, 1979", while the biographical information in the side bar says "15 April 1978". I assume the intro is wrong, so I'll fix it. Grum0613 (talk) 17:12, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- June 1979 seems to be where the sources are converging. Elle - June; IMDB - 15 June 1979; but The Guardian indicated 7 June 1979 dob. Still a bit of inconsistency to resolve here. Dl2000 (talk) 03:20, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
Fringe episode count
[edit]The total count of the Fringe episodes she was in is incorrect. She wasn't in season 4 episode 19, "Letters of Transit." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.69.170.255 (talk) 00:40, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
Marriage
[edit]Back in April 2010, it looks like it was People magazine that broke news of Torv and Valley splitting up though they don't specify how or where they got this information. They give a vague mention of splitting a few months prior (in an article dated to April 2010) but not how long "a few months" is.[1]
Other 2010 sources I've found seem to all point to using the People magazine report as their source. Including the LA Times,[2] Huffington Post[3] and Digital Spy.[4]
Although the Sydney Morning Herald seems to a regarded as generally reliable, I'm not sure about putting the 2009 end year until further discussion because it could be a case of circular reporting/WP:SYNTH. Especially since I'm sure her Wiki page or even a quick Google search all had the 2009 divorce year for the longest time. Clear Looking Glass (talk) 09:34, 19 February 2023 (UTC)

- there just was an interview where it was mentioned she became a mother when she lived in Los Angeles! completely new info, I thought maybe someone should update/edit the page as I myself have few knowledge on how to do so. the article is from The Australian Women's Weekly, September 2023. https://www.zinio.com/au/article/the-australian-womens-weekly/september-2023-i596060/anna-torv-home-is-where-my-heart-is-a69153 91.234.226.105 (talk) 20:51, 22 August 2023 (UTC)
