Is this the same Arne Eriksson?[edit]

This article originally was created for a person named Arne Eriksson born 15 January 1916. Later, a date of death was added with ancestry.com as a source - which is, however, for a person called Arne Eriksson born 16 January 1916. As I see no other identifying material under the ancestry.com link, this might be a different person? Arne Eriksson isn't a particularly rare Scandinavian name, and how do we know that the entry at ancestry.com is for the football referee? Maybe registered users are able to view more material there? If the entry is for the same person, maybe the date of birth needs to be corrected here? Gestumblindi (talk) 22:20, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

For the records: I recently discussed this issue with User:NiTenIchiRyu at his talk page (in German, as this is both his and my first language), and he's now proposing to remove the supposed DOD from the article. I agree, as the ancestry.com link only serves as evidence that some Arne Eriksson died that day. Maybe the IP contributor who changed the DOD to 1 August 1983 has better information, but sadly they didn't provide any citation. Gestumblindi (talk) 19:32, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
