Augusten Burroughs/ One Hour Interview

[edit]

I've found a great link for this Author. There is a live interview wiht Augusten Burroughs hosted by Victoria Lautman who produces Writers on The Record in Chicago. It is recorded in front of a live audience and is hilarious and informative. I've attached the link. I think this would be an excellent resource for anyone wanting to get a deeper take on this author. http://www.victorialautman.com/ontherecord.shtml#burroughs Corkyshag (talk) 21:09, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unclear wording

[edit]

In the controversy section, the article refers to family's lawsuit without first mentioning the family. It's clear from reading the rest of the paragraph which family is being referred to, but the sentence is confusing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Amancalledj (talkcontribs) 16:43, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dennis

[edit]

Who is 'Dennis'? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.224.99.199 (talk) 17:06, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, that's what I thought: "Who is 'Dennis'?" --Martin (talk) 14:50, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Turcotte Family

[edit]

Who is the Turcotte family? I came here to learn about the lawsuit, I don't already know the entire backstory. 15:22, 13 May 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.61.10.68 (talk)

They were the "Finches" in the book. They basically sued him on the grounds of "defamation" and accused him of making stuff up. You can read a little more about it on the Vanity Fair article . --74.101.116.200 (talk) 13:35, 18 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
