Critique/Copyvio[edit]

Could I please get some critique of this page. Thank you, Christy

The Artistic Directors section appears to be a copyvio. I have removed the information. --lifebaka (Talk - Contribs) 00:30, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If I rewrote it in my own words would it be a copyvio? --Smooshette (talk) 20:40, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Goldilocks[edit]

| Goldilocks & the Three Bears | Hérold-Lanchbery, La Fille Mal Gardee | 2005

I'm no expert here but have found some imprecision in the "Selected list of new works ...", most of which I've I think improved. This one, though, I am having to leave unresolved. In short, I've found nothing to connect Goldilocks to La Fille ... in a pretty quick search. I found and fixed another mismatched title in the chart so am concerned this one may be, also, mismatched.

Any help appreciated. Thanks. And I've enjoyed the visit. Hope maybe to return. Swliv (talk) 16:29, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I can see how this would be confusing, but often choreographers use music from existing ballets to create new ones. In this case, the Bontragers used music from the existing La Fille Mal Gardee score to create a new ballet telling the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Lanchbery's music is very expressive and creates wonderful drama and humor for this children's ballet. Balletfan00 (talk) 17:30, 26 August 2012 (UTC)balletfan00[reply]
