Birth and death

[edit]

Basil Patchitt was born in Singapore (then part of the Federation of Malay States) in 1900. But my source is his own son, so you'll probably ignore it. Cris Freddi — Preceding unsigned comment added by82.35.3.81 (talk) 23:54, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and he died in South Africa in 1991. His son supplied that piece of informatioon too. And the exact date of his dad's death. Cris Freddi — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.35.3.81 (talk) 01:51, 27 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Any way of verifying this - news article, birth/death certificates? GiantSnowman 09:50, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not that I've seen. You yourself could try researching South African death records. Finding his (80-year-old) son was a big enough success for me. Cris Freddi — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.35.3.81 (talk) 23:31, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
