Pronunciation
[edit]I heard "Annick" used and this seems plausible. Can anyone do the IPA and verify this pronunciation? slυмgυм [ ←→ ] 21:16, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
I can confirm that it is pronounced 'Anick', same as the town. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.27.30.110 (talk) 15:50, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
Jak Alnwick
[edit]There's a ref to Jak Alnwick on the page who to my knowledge is till with the Sunderland U16s and not with Newcastle as the page stated, if someone can find a ref that he has switched, by all means update it. 167.1.176.4 (talk) 08:17, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
There is no evidence or page on the whole Newcastle website for Jak Alnwick so I have changed it back. There is no profile for him in the Academy area either as I checked through it. Govvy (talk) 19:22, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
Jak Alnwick does play for Newcastle United
[edit]Moved to Newcastle in the summer currently injured. http://www.nufc.com/2008-09html/acad-apps.html Zymosis54 (talk) 19:43, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
Thats an unofficial site, do you have a page on the official page or a news site page? Otherwise I might change it back. Govvy (talk) 21:40, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
This article from the official site last month mentions a goalkeeper named Jak Alnwick playing U-18s. I would suggest a better citatiojn should be found, but it does at least confirm he is playing for NUFC...and probably why he is injured as suggested by Zymosis54--ClubOranjeTalk 23:48, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
One of the reasons that he may not listed as an academy player is that he is only 15. He injured himself against Stoke with his last kick of the game which led to the Newcastle equalizer. Aaron Spear is not listed in the academy either but he is a Newcastle player also, nufc.co.uk doesn't seem to list players that are still of school age. Zymosis54 (talk) 22:33, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
Sex tape scandal
[edit]The sources for this are very sketchy, something seems wrong about it, I had thought the whole section was removed before. Govvy (talk) 21:30, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
