Putting aside the problem of reliable third-party sources, is this academic notable? He has published over 100 papers, yet has an h-index of 10 (Unless I'm doing something wrong) and no highly cited papers. He has written several books, but none (so far as I can tell) are exceptionally significant to their field. Xonein (talk) 23:53, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Judging by book summaries and Amazon costumer reviews, his claims have become increasingly bold and somewhat unorthodox. At the same time, I have been unable to find competent reviews of his newer books, the last of which seems to be self-published. Basically, his work outside thermodynamics seems to be ignored by physicists. It would be nice if someone could dig out a respectable review, otherwise the section "later years" is skating close to promoting fringe positions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.224.188.19 (talk) 23:17, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
