I've added a good bit of material, most is commonly available but some (IE: about how she got her first acting job) is from the interview Betsy Palmer gave on the January 15 2006 episode of the podcast The Future And You. (This can be found at Vorticity 17:57, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

While her ex-husband's name appears more commonly online as Vincent J. Marandino, the correct spelling was Merendino. This can be verified by using the SSDI -- he died in New Jersey on 8 April '07. (talk) 18:20, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

I bought a DVD, titled "James Dean Legendary TV Performances" from and the first movie is titled "Sentence of Death" from 1953. The description on tbe back cover reads: "When young ex-con Joe Palika (James Dean) is fingered for a drugstore killing, the only thinvs standing between him and tbe e!ectric chair is the shaky testimony of rich partygirl, Ellen Morrison (Betsy Palmer) and tbe lrofezsional doubts of the police detective who helped put him away." She was really the lead character in tbe movie; younv, pretty, outgoing. She had a familiar look to her as I had see her as she had grown older, so I looked her up. I think this shou!d be included. Note: I live in Indiana and worked in East Chicago (Betsy's birthtown) for 25 years. - Wm Boyden Wm Boyden (talk) 07:03, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
