Mistakes in the mistakes section
[edit]THIS: The AutoMag handgun is stated as being the weapon of choice by the Alphabet Bandits. Empty AutoMag casings are even shown as key pieces of evidence from the first heist. However, no .44 AutoMag was used by anyone in the film. Most of the bandits use Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine guns, which are 9 millimeters. At various points, Karla Fry used a 9 millimeter and/or a .357 Magnum.
Is just wrong. So I removed it. An AMT 44 Automag is seen twice. Once during the first robbery, and then the assassin who tries to kill Foley outside the club fires at him several times with an automag. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.27.133.184 (talk) 09:35, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
A possible Trading Places reference.
[edit]I've moved this from the article into the talk page for obvious reasons. If someone could answer it, that would be nice: Not sure but would need someone to confirm, when Eddie Murphy did Trading Places there is a scene when Dan Ackroyd is reading the financial news paper Eddie Murphy's picture is in it, in the scene of Beverly Hills Cop II when Eddie Murphy is approached the receptionist at the gun club she is reading the same paper from Trading Places with Eddie's picture still visible on it. US Immigration
So US immigration wouldn't have a record of who lives in the Virgin Isles? No, of course not... But they DO keep a record of who comes in and out of their country. So they would know if someone came from the Virgin Isles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.110.210.150 (talk) 22:30, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Edit Production;change automag section
[edit]It states that there is no Automag used in the film, this is not true because in the opening jewel heist scene, one of the robbery crew is using one and again during the driveby on Axel outside the club.
Edit Production; change MP5
[edit]The submachine guns MP5 used in the film were actually civilian Heckler & Koch HK94's.
"Eddie Murphy admitted"
[edit]@BrunoMacDonald: you reverted me here -- I'm having trouble making sense of your edit summary. Did you revert me because I only changed one word? There is a clear Wikipedia policy that says we should avoid using "admitted" and similar colourful synonyms for "said" because they give the reader the wrong impression. Eddie Murphy can say that the film was mediocre, and we can write that he said so. If we write that he admitted it, that means that we also imply the film is mediocre, and reviewing films is not Wikipedia's job. Daß Wölf 00:50, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
Perhaps you could simply have changed "admitted" to "said" rather than altering the quote? best wishes, Bruno BrunoMacDonald (talk) 09:46, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
