article on budhia
[edit]The Asian Pacific Post has an article on Budhia Singh. I don't know what the best is for pulling info and citing is. I'll add it as an external link to the article for now at least.

clarification
[edit]Budhia wasnt "bought back" by Biranchi Das, in the documentary on Channel Five (UK) it was cited that he was adopted by Biranchi Das and his family. -- RND T C 21:18, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- He was first just living with Das, then he was adopted by Das, then he became well known and conflict between Das and local governement arised. Then he was kidnapped back by his mother and lived in the slum again. Then he was sold for 800 roepie to another person. That person beated Budhia (at least that was claimed) and he was bought back by Das for 800 roepie and went living with his mother again, the kidnapping might also have been after this buying back. But it was his mother who sold him initially. I guess the adoption was never put on any paper. Mvg, Basvb (talk) 14:15, 3 November 2011 (UTC)

Copyedit
[edit]I have removed some of the references as they did not contain the information in the article. Any material that has a reference should be found in the text of the cited articles, books or web sources.
I have also added some cns as there are some points which need references. These are not "drive by tagging", as this is a blp it needs to have citations for material that is controversial or could be defamatory. Chaosdruid (talk) 16:04, 23 July 2011 (UTC)
- Most of the information in stated in the documentairy linked on the bottom of the article. Mvg, Basvb (talk) 14:16, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
- That just isn't good enough. Each claim must be individually cited, or it will be removed. Skinsmoke (talk) 16:23, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
