Added an info-box image this morning - was something I've been trying to get to but wasn't auto-confirmed until today. Thanks for checking it out though. (BigShawe (talk) 16:50, 19 January 2012 (UTC))[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this is a page in progress and will be linked to reference material - I just created this and it's for a real game and it doesn't need to be deleted. It's relevant because, for informational purposes and players of the game, this is going to be a good resource for them. — BigShawe (talk) 09:54, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The existence of the game is not in doubt. The issue is whether it is notable - please read that link. Indeed this article doesn't even tell us why the subject is important, so meets the criteria for speedy deletion - see [{WP:CSD]]:A7. Thanks, Sparthorse (talk) 09:57, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The article is definitely notable and has several references with more to come. The subject is obviously important to anyone interested in TCG games that wants to know more about the game. Requesting a speedy deletion of the article is amateur and unnecessary.— BigShawe (talk)

I've been adding sections to this page and comparing it to many of the other trading card game pages on Wikipedia. Before any deletion is made (if that's the decision that is approved) can you please send me a message or email and give me a chance to correct it? I'm a new user and don't want this page deleted, it's important to the community of people that play this game.— BigShawe (talk)

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because <I don't know who has created the article and gathered the information regarding Cabals: The Card Game, my googleAlert picked this up. The information truthful, important and appropriate. Several other similar games have equal wikipedia articles. While someone has done a good job here, it should not be removed but supplemented with more background details about the game. -Mika Rosendahl (Ceo, Kyy Games)>. — 91.152.199.178 (talk) 09:09, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Review Sources[edit]

It seems that all the reviews of this game listed in the reception section are individuals, or obscure gaming publications, and are presented in a list. I put an empty game scores table in the reception section and if any reviews from major gaming publications (IGN, Gamespot, ect.) exist for this game they should be added to this table. Additionally the reviews are presented in list form, I believe the reception section needs to be rewritten in paragraph from to be made more readable. 16bitz 21:45, 19 January 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 16bitz (talkcontribs)

Thanks for the advice - Cabals is a new CCG and (as far as I know) hasn't been reviewed by any of those publications. That reception box will be helpful to have when we eventually get there. Also, Thanks for your help with revisions across the entire article. (BigShawe (talk) 15:17, 20 January 2012 (UTC))[reply]
