Incorrect "Official" Cancun Airport Website on sidebar

I came to Wikipedia to find the official Cancun airport website, but it seems like the link to the website is incorrect, possibly tricking someone intentionally. It takes you to what someone may think is an official website, but first and foremost, the name of the link seems incorrect: https://www.cancuniairport.com/ There is an extra "i" between "cancun" and "airport". Further, the grammar is poor, the "need to know" section recommends that you should party and buy stuff, and there are links that allow you to book services. This doesn't seem right for an official government website. I can't edit this link, and I am unsure of the actual one. This article seems to have been targeted by several different fake websites claiming to be the official website, starting with what appears to be a good-faith edit on 25 Dec 2017. As far as I can tell, the only official site is that of the airport's operator, ASUR. The homepage (http://www.asur.com.mx/en/airports/cancun/cancun-passengers/ ) appears to be broken, so I have linked a sub-page which includes the navigation menu here.-- choster (talk) 23:52, 16 January 2019 (UTC)

Wrong Official Airport Link

Seems to be an ongoing occurrence based on previous edits. The website link currently showing at the top right corner of the page is incorrect. (also listed in External Links). The link www.cancunairport.com/contact.html takes you to a spoof site run by CancunShuttle. They do a really good job of disguising this, and even share real information - but the telling sign is on the bottom left of the spoof page where you find links to a single shuttle and tour company. To summarize - cancunairport links to cancunshuttle and cancunfuntours - which are all hosted the same. This is pretty funny. Look up a few sections. You'll see a year ago June I asked about an edit war regarding this, and meanwhile semi-protected the page. It was a clash between es.cancun-airport.net and cancuniairport.com. Now www.asur.com.mx/Contenido/Cancun has raised its hand. But it's not an "official government site" either. It does have a tad more official connections -- it's by Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, the operator of this and some other airports. The Cancun Shuttle site was obviously wrong, and ASUR does operate the airport, so I changed it even though the web site is more oriented to selling food and souvenirs than it is to helping passengers. I'll check the June discussion, thanks. GA-RT-22 (talk) 23:36, 28 December 2023 (UTC)

Shuttle bus route length

"4 km route" is wrong. It's 5 km by road from the station to the closest terminal. Assuming they will use the existing road and not tunnel under the runway. The entire route including all terminals must be close to 10 km. The source says "de cuatro kilómetros de longitud". GA-RT-22 (talk) 16:12, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
