What is the tonnage?

[edit]

I cannot find any ref for tons displacement. The best I've got is:

http://www.naval-technology.com/projects/cape-class-patrol-boats/ The Cape Class boat will have an overall length of 57.8m, beam of 10.3m and a draft of 3m.

Mathematically that gives a range of 600 to 900 tons. (Cubic meter of water weighing a ton, etc.) Hcobb (talk) 02:48, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Triggered by \bnaval-technology\.com\b on the local blacklist

First source: Armament information

[edit]

I was looking at the first source to confirm that the information regarding the armament is correct, and could not find anything about "2 x .50 calibre machine guns" on the Cape class patrol boat. If someone could specify the location of this information if it is indeed in this document, that would be a huge help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kingmondo (talkcontribs) 06:32, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Cape class patrol boats of the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard

[edit]

I have uploaded a few images to Commons of the new Cape class patrol boats of the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard that I took a few hours ago. I can't find a ship name as yet so its under Category:Cape class patrol boats of the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard for now. I will recategorise and, possibly, rename the images once a name becomes official. If somebody comes across reliable information, let me know here and I will make the changes on commons.
