Untitled[edit]

This is a start using the complete text from the General's Marine Corps page. It's complete as far as her career is concerned, but somewhat dry, and it doesn't cover her activities since retiring. I worked for the General when she was a lite colonel and she's good people, so I thought I'd at least get a start on her page. -- NetSerfer 21:01, July 21, 2005 UTC

Who was first?[edit]

This article claims that Carol Mutter was the first woman to reach promotion to three-star rank in the U.S. military. The article on Patricia Ann Tracey claims that Tracey (a vice admiral in the Navy) was first. Is the incompatibility of the two claims more of the rivalry between USMC and USN? More to the point here, which side is Wikipedia on? At present, it's on both. Rammer (talk) 04:41, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
