Stub?[edit]

Why is this rated 'stub'? Just how much information do you need to exit stub-class?

If you added a paragraph about the castle & every villager's name and adress there would be nothing left to say Brunnian (talk) 05:28, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The problem with the ratings is that they get out of date, and need someone to spot that there has been a substantial change in the content of an article. The England project assessed it in November 2007, while the Lincolnshire project in March 2009. If you feel that an article needs a reassessment and do not want to do it your self then just drop a note on the assessment page of the relevant project. For example the Lincolnshire assessment page can be found at WP:WikiProject Lincolnshire/Assessment and add an entry in the section "Assessment Requests". Call for citations[edit]

The call for citations is unlikely to be satisfied. Take, for example, the two for the history of methodism. I attended the chapel till it closed, and the informally ecumenical services in the Anglican church. I know this to be true. But the chance of finding contemporary written evidence is vanishingly small. Yet no-one from the village has disputed the tale, or come up with another. This is a weakness of wikipedia--Brunnian (talk) 06:49, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Replaced several cn's with references. The ones mentioned above are impossible to satisfy.--Robert EA Harvey (talk) 22:37, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Castle[edit]

Would the lengthy entry about the castle be better in Bytham Castle? with a 'main article' link and a one-sentence summary?--Robert EA Harvey (talk) 07:45, 16 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Commonwealth?[edit]

The maypole image caption refers to the Commonwealth, which is perhaps Commonwealth of England, but that is neither linked nor stated. Maybe a leftover from previous edits? Huwg 220.253.30.198 (talk) 10:41, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
