I added this page because it is an association that publishes journals that are referenced in Wikipedia. I did not know what the assoc was and was surprised that it had no Wiki-entry. It has many physician members and publishes journals, and is mentioned in other Wiki-pages. It needs a Wiki-page. period. History2007 (talk) 02:51, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Google isn't a way to directly ascertain notability, but if you have references from news hits and whatever why not include them in the first place? Ironholds (talk) 03:21, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ironholds, there's no reason to think that adding the sources initially would have saved any of History2007's time: it's the same level of work whether s/he does it this week or next. It might have saved your time, but that's not a strong argument in favor of History2007 doing extra work immediately. WhatamIdoing (talk) 04:50, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, ok, ok. I hereby agree to refund exactly 10% of what I have been paid by Wikipedia this week. Where do I send the check? But seriously, the way these things work is that different people add things over time. I started the page on Matthias Stom with just one sentence because he had no entry, and suddenly others added to it. So one person starts, then many add: Wikipedia. Update: I eventually managed to add to the page. It is almost the end of Feb now, and no one else did anything, so I had to do it after all. History2007 (talk) 20:06, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
