Charles Augustus FitzRoy was never the Government Resident of the Northern Territory
[edit]The "Administrators of the Northern Territory" template has been removed from the article because FitzRoy was never the Government Resident of the Northern Territory which was an office created by the Government of South Australia (GSA) in the early 1860s under the colony's Northern Territory Act 1863. Please refer the following link for the appointment of B.T. Finniss as the first Government Resident - [1].
