Overhaul

[edit]

This article needed a massive fix. The name of it is still odd; I don't know how to fix it. I removed a section that read more like an essay or term paper than a Wiki article, but more work should be done on this page. Rockhound (talk) 07:15, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To fix the name, use the Move option. I have just done this to rename the article to a more appropriate title. Dethme0w (talk) 07:17, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV and improper tone tag removal

[edit]

I have in-depth knowledge of the details of this case from personal experience. I see nothing in this article that is not factually supported by the record, or by the evidence. Also, the tone does not seem improper to me, unless, of course, one considers the discussion of horrific crimes to be inappropriate as a matter of principle. Discussions of gruesome homicides would naturally be expected to cause concern in most people. I find that the tone of this article sticks closely to the facts. I did however remove the word "allegedly", as that is by definition inappropriate in a case such as this where the allegation was in fact proven in a court of law.

Not sure how the race of tadaryl has anything to do with the crime. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.252.198.143 (talk) 11:06, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have therefore removed the tags, as this article was tagged over 9 months ago without any drastic changes being made in the interim. NDM (talk) 03:31, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Secondary sources

[edit]

Is a Singapore's English language newspaper really the best source of information regarding an American death penalty case? I imagine that this is not an original piece of journalism, written in Singapore, but picked up off of a wire service.

If possible, the original article should be tracked down so it's clear what newspaper conducted this reporting and analysis. 69.125.134.86 (talk) 16:27, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

2024 Update

[edit]

There was a massive amount of information and updates missing from the years 2021 - current (03/2024).

I did my best to update what information I could find under Scheduled Execution. I included case law link and other links where I could, but I’m not sure I’ve done it right and I know there could be more information linked/added.

If anyone has a chance or a hankering, I would love someone to check it over for grammar and just to make sure it makes sense.

I am completely new to editing more than a simple spelling or grammar mistake so a second set of eyes is always appreciated!

Thank you! Originalmidnightsangel (talk) 22:58, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
