I reverted the addition of the the Lake Shore Limited link, because Lake Shore Limited (Amtrak) redirects to Lake Shore Limited, which is already linked earlier in the same paragraph. - EurekaLott 03:09, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks for being patient with me. - GilliamJF 06:46, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Opening date

[edit]

We need to clear up exactly when this station opened. A story in the Blade points to June 1977, with the formal dedication a month after. The Lake Shore Limited resumed on October 1, 1975 and never used Union Terminal. The 1975 timetable refers to "400 E. Memorial Shoreway" which is close to the existing site. I'm guessing Amtrak rolled in a trailer until Lakefront opened but I haven't found documentation yet. Mackensen (talk) 21:11, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
