Yellow!
[edit]Hello I have taken the time to revise this Article. if anybody still cares, could you proofread it over? I've gotten some partners too, and I believe it is all set. I added more citations as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by NerdyChicken11 (talk • contribs) 17:10, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
- @NerdyChicken11: Hi, thanks for your edits! I've done a bit of copyediting, but I guess it could still use another look-over; I forget the MOS's rules on multiple nested quotation marks, for instance... Cooljeanius (talk) (contribs) 00:56, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
Infobox needed?
[edit]Why does it say that an infobox is needed? There already is an infobox... is the current one not good enough or something? Cooljeanius 19:24, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Crimson or Maroon?
[edit]Someone just changed the school colors part from maroon to crimson. The official school color is crimson, but the color used on all the sports uniforms is a lot closer to maroon. I don't want to start an edit war, so what do people think the color listed in the infobox should be? Cooljeanius 13:58, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- I believe the school's colors have been changed to a green and gold combination. 132.177.45.143 (talk) 19:43, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- Uh, no.--Ken Gallager (talk) 12:18, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
- This is very similar to the University of Alabama. The UA's colors are also Crimson and White but the true color that the university uses is sort of like Maroon but redder. Dreammaker182 15:33, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Concordhs.jpg
[edit]Image:Concordhs.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:51, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

University of Alabama Connection?
[edit]Is there a connection between Concord and the University of Alabama? Both are nicknamed the "Crimson Tide" and both have "crimson and white" as their school colors. However in both cases, the "Crimson" is actually a dark red that is close to Maroon. Dreammaker182 15:42, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
- I don't think there's a connection; I think it's just a coincidence. I might be wrong, though. Cooljeanius (talk) (contribs) 18:19, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Grinding Controversy
[edit]User:Big Bird recently made an edit in which he said that the grinding controversy didn't go national. I remember for a fact that it did show up in the national media (if not the dance itself, it at least sparked a national dialogue about the appropriateness of grinding in general, and other schools' policies about it), I'm just having trouble/too lazy to find a citation for this. Could someone maybe help me find one? Thanks. Cooljeanius (talk) (contribs) 18:17, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Dec85/Jan86 History: Fatal Shooting & Space Shuttle Challenger
[edit]Here are statements that have just been added to the list of school shootings article, and would be important info to add to the history section of this article:
- December 3, 1985: Concord, New Hampshire - At Concord High School, a 16-year-old male dropout walked into the school with a shotgun and took two students hostage. The situation ended with responding police officers fatally shooting him when he "...aimed the shotgun at a teacher who was trying to talk him into surrendering."[1][2][3] (The following month, this same high school lost its teacher Christa McAuliffe in the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster.)
Both incidents are significant in terms of national (if not world) history, let alone the school's history.--Concord hioz (talk) 06:05, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
