Discussion on Merging

[edit]

I think that this article may be a little skimp on overall data and if a global perspective is included with citations, I believe this could be a solid part of the Sports injury page. There is also a page that has not yet been made but is linked to from Sports injury called Sports-related concussions that could be used as a merge location or a redirection, provided that a broader perspective on sports concussions were to be addressed (ie including research regarding concussions across all sports, the relevance to these sports, both genders, and a global perspective). Discuss. Robotunicr0n (talk) 19:58, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I did create a concussions in sport page, though it is primarily North America-centric, since I can't really find much sources. ZappaOMati 20:01, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Noted. Perhaps link to this article from concussions in sport to remove this from orphan status? Also should address the other tags. Lack of sources does seem to be a problem for this article in particular. If we can't improve sources we should definitely consider merging to preserve the information, since if it stays like this there is a small possibility it might get deleted. Something to consider, at least. --Robotunicr0n (talk) 20:23, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I was planning on creating a template for this page and the concussions in sport, concussions in American football, as well as the pages that I plan to create as part of my Concussion Project that I'm working on. ZappaOMati 20:35, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
