History of USSC[edit]

Was there ever a page for USSC itself? It would be nice to know the history of USSC.

please do not merge, Nellcor deserves its own page[edit]

Please do not merge with Covidien. Nellcor was a start-up and turned market leader before being sold to Mallinckrodt, which was acquired by Tyco, which spun out Covidien (see here). Nellcor remains a recognized brand exclusively for pulse oximetry. Covidien does many things, so specific information on pulse oximetry is lost. According to Masimo's 10-K filing for 2010, Covidien's pulse oximetry branch, i.e. Nellcor, and Masimo together have a 90% market share for pulse oximetry. --EphemeralKnowledge (talk) 06:33, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

Mallinckrodt will be separating from Covidien in 2013. Please do not merge the pages.Aussiejb (talk) 20:46, 23 January 2013 (UTC)

Having worked for PB for years, it's necessary to have the history, so please keep this.

There's been no action on this for over 2 years, so I've de-tagged the page. LT90001 (talk) 01:44, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

Changes to Covidien Page[edit]

This is another example of a poorly sourced page, but its content is not in the form of an advertisement (more like a list). Removed advert tag.FactCheckerOne (talk) 21:51, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
