Original research / lyrics[edit]

Per WP:NPS and WP:NOTLYRICS please do not continue to add lyrics (or your translation of them) to this article. It doesn't belong here. Continuing to do so is considered disruptive.

Also, your interpretation of the lyrics is considered ORIGNAL RESEARCH and not appropriate. This is not a book or movie so it does not have a plot. Any exegesis should be properly cited.

This has already been explained to filceolaire (talk · contribs) on my talk page but perhaps to prove his/her WP:POINT, she has restored this material against policy. The Dissident Aggressor 22:43, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"both" settings on Dúlamán (album)?[edit]

Top section says

Among the best known settings (both derived from the Scottish strathspey "Cutting Ferns") are those of Clannad, recorded on their 1976 album Dúlamán.

The track listing for that album has only one track for the song. Unless the track includes both settings in a medley, "both" and "are" are incorrect in that sentence. I don't have the album and haven't heard it, so I'm not boldly changing it. Thnidu (talk) 14:22, 4 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I looked at the revision history where the "both" was added, and found nothing from there on justifying the plural, so I have changed it back to the singular. Cheers! bd2412 T 14:44, 4 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Origins of the song[edit]
