Is this really a video game? Its certainly stretching the idea of "video game".

Its certainly a game, and it certainly relates to computers, but really its more of a programming excercise. No one refers to a programmer trying to solve programming puzzles for fun as "video games", after all. 192.211.30.243 (talk) 02:24, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A text adventure game is interactive, at least. In Darwin, the players write their programs and submit them, and then do nothing until the results are in. There's no sensible "screen shot" to be provided for the classic implementation, though if a remake is done, it's possible that it could display a map showing ownership of regions, as seems to have been done for Core War.
