OK, I thought I would open up a discussion about this as there seems to be edit warring on the page recently.

Some people seem to be in dispute whether or not the incident regarding Father Alan Sapsford should be included in the article.

Can we please discuss these issues here instead of reverting to edit warring? --5 albert square (talk) 14:34, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely. This was a major event in the life of the Diocese and is totally contemporary. Bishop David should not be shielded from an historic reality, he is like any other Bishop in this situation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wangarattan (talkcontribs) 03:54, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

Looks like we have two article about the same person, David Farrer created two years ago, and David Farrer (Anglican bishop) from last month. Since he is the only person of this name with a Wikipedia article, there is no reason to have a disambiguation added to the article name, so the result of the merger should be David Farrer. Yes, it is the same person. I notice the two articles a few weeks ago and agree that they should be merged but don't know much about the process for this. Cheers, Anglicanus (talk) 16:41, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
