Amendment of Entry[edit]

I have read the entry about DOUGLAS PHIPPS.I am the subject person and am known as DAVID PHIPPS.I was christened DAVID DOUGLAS PHIPPS. I not know how the name PALMER got into the entry. I made my debut for Essex Second X1 in the Minor Counties Championship against Cambridgeshire in 1952. I did not play for Buckinghamshire nor Norfolk. In the final paragraph the name Palmer appears .It should read PHIPPS. The remainder of the paragraph is correct. Under the personal information column my birthdate should read 27 July 1934 not 27 January 1934. Under the heading 'Domestic Team Information' I did not play for Norfolk nor Buckinghamshire. For completeness I played hockey for Essex and the Army and was awarded the MBE in 1995.86.184.245.183 (talk) 16:57, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
