Original synthesis and other violations
[edit]The criticism section of this article is replete with original synthesis and it must be removed. For example; bringing a source that indicates an increase in the murder rate in particular years, but that makes no mention of the article's subject, and then making the connection IN the wikipedia article would be forbidden as original research/synthesis even if it was the most beatific and hagiographic description possible. As it is trying to cast the article's subject, who is still alive, in the negative, makes it all the more imperative that it be removed. No criticism or praise can be added without reliable and verifiable sourcing that does not require original synthesis on the part of wikipedia. -- Avi (talk) 04:23, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Youtube is not acceptable as RS for BLPs, I believe, thus the entire criticism section was improper. I am certain there can be found some reliable and verifiable criticism; he is a politician. What was there now is not acceptable. Most of the article for that matter is still a mess. -- Avi (talk) 04:35, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
