Shri Devnarayan Bhagwan → Devnarayan — Shri, Bhagwan are honorifics in the title. RS usually call him simply Devnarayan. —Redtigerxyz ^Talk 12:56, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

so plz update the description.Lord devnarayan along with bhagarawat were Gurjar.There is not doubt abt bhagarawat's caste as Hari ram was himself Gujjar who used to feed cows but when he killed evil lion ,leelashewati's father awarded him his half kingdom and also married his daughter to him as he was bound to do that.He promised to award half of his kingdom and marry her daughter with a man who could kill that evil lion.As Hariram killed the lion so he became king then.For more details one can go through books i mentioned here as i myself read these books and they are very old literature in this regard.So don't associate Rajput caste with bhagarawat.Bhagarawat were Gurjars.Most devotees of lord devnarayan are Gujjar and you go to temples of Devnarayan and see that in maximum temples Bhopas are Gurjar.Even no one doubt abt the caste of Bhagarawat where they are well known .I am surprised to see here that wiki mentioning them as Rajput.Before reaching at conclusion one must do proper research .Hope u will update the page.If u need further reference let me know. regards Chhora (talk) 18:37, 11 September 2009 (UTC) Chhora —Preceding undated comment added 18:40, 27 November 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Bagaravat Bharat -Veer Gurjar Utpatti by Anandaram phagana(1975)book is oldest possible literature pertaining to this subject.Nectar gaze and poison breath: an analysis and translation of the Rajasthani By Aditya Malik is just translated this Anandaram phagana's book into english.If u would go through book of Anandaram phagana published by Ajmer prakashan u would come to know that Bagaravats were chatrapati Chauhan of Gurjar clan.There is Chauhan cla is Gurjar.As here mentioned that Hariram got simh title from bishaldev due to his bravery is totally wrong.Gurjars are Kshatriya caste and They use simh as there surname, There is no need to give that title to them.Hariram was Gurjar and use to be cowherd, but later on he married to lelashevri and got half of the Kingdon of her father Jagjan (as mentioned in anandaram phagana's book).King Jagjan's kingdom was near Kuna river.Also if one would go through the book then there is a saga about Taradey panwar(daughter of Rana durjansal)where she said that women got confused if she is gurar or Rajput as Bhuna ji (brother of devnarayan and son of baravat bagaravat)lived with Rana and Taradey was his dharm sister.But bhuna ji being Gurjar and Taradey being Rajput made ppl think so as bhuna ji and taradey wer great brother-sister.Also here someone keep saying that Bagh simh had multiple caste wives..totally wrong.he had all his wives from Gurjars only except one which was 13th and Married to the Brahmin who used to with bagh simh in Garden.Mother of nevaji was Lakamadey Padiyar(obviously Gurjar)and so on for other bagaravats also.
