More about his career?

[edit]

The article seems to be missing most of his career, going straight from early years and his first album to the murder case. If someone could write more about the middle part of his life, it would help the article. - Bobet 09:07, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Makes the article appear as a smear job, and as if that is all he's known for. I'll be going through the article later today to copy edit, add ref tags, and improve the headings per WP:MOS, but the lack of content about him is a concern. (Since I'd never heard of him, I can't help write that content.) Sandy 12:12, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I did all I can to clean the article up, but it's really in sad shape. Please add some information about his career so that the unbalanced tag can be removed: the article is currently more about Niño than Díaz. Sandy 14:15, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please, please, I've also noticed that part of his life is missing and I'm working on it... be patient. I know you all want a good article, instead of criticizing, help me with the editing, I'll try to find some more info, but only during my procrastinating time. I don't think the article is unbalanced, maybe a request for expansion would be more accurate. --F3rn4nd0 17:35, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There's a lot more to the murder story which is not here. According to a program on Colombian TV last night much evidence in this case went missing. That which remains shows that she had enough cocaine in her body for 7-8 people, including in her rectum and vagina, she had the semen of Diaz and two of his bodyguards in her vagina, her clothes were torn and marks on her body were consistent with rape. Her body found it way to a cemetery in Tunja, outside of Bogotá, where it was delivered by a group of girls who claimed she was a fellow prostitute named "Sandra", under which name she was interned, without the necessary documents being checked. Witnesses repeatedly changed their stories as more evidence emerged. The whole thing is a terrible indictment if not just Díaz, but the whole Colombian legal process. Fair use rationale for Image:19mividadmusical.png

[edit]

Image:19mividadmusical.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

"Mea culpa" for "culposo"?

[edit]

This article is the only Google hit for "mea culpa homicide". Shouldn't that translate to something like "negligent" or "grossly negligent"? --88.73.26.46 (talk) 11:55, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Homicidio culposo = manslaughter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.87.19.198 (talk) 20:02, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
