Disability golf classification → Blind golf classification – This article only deals with blind golf, not other types of disability golf 65.92.181.190 (talk) 06:49, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

Discussion
[edit]- Any additional comments:
- Blind golf is not any better because there are other forms of gold played by people with disabilities. --LauraHale (talk) 09:26, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
- None of which are covered in this article, only a statement in the intro sentence and a photo. The only thing covered by the article outside of those two instances is blind golf. -- 65.92.181.190 (talk) 05:53, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
SupportOppose: the first sentence mentions "other forms of disability golf", but that's the only mention of anything other than blind golf. Another option I could support would be merge into blind golf. --Stfg (talk) 12:36, 22 October 2012 (UTC)- Changed to oppose. Article could be expanded to cover the other forms Laura mentions, and I now prefer Disability classification in golf, as proposed at Talk:Disability judo classification#Requested move 3. --Stfg (talk) 13:27, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

"disability?" or is this just blind golf?
[edit]This article is highly unbalanced. Other than the picture, and a mention in the intro sentence, there is no information on disability classification in golf, with the sole exception of blind golf classification. Either this article should be expanded, or it isn't about "disability classification in golf" at all, and should be merged to blind golf instead. -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 01:30, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
Merger proposal
[edit][Transcluded from Talk:Blind Golf]: A proposal to merge from Disability classification in golf to Blind golf discussion area:
Nom: I suggest that Disability classification in golf (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) be merged into Blind golf (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) because blind golf is the only thing actually covered in Disability classification in golf. There is no other form of disability covered in that article. The photo of the amputee golfer is therefore highly misleading, since no coverage on that subject is given in the article. The entire article is about blind golf, except the photo of the amputee golfer and the intro sentence. -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 01:35, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
- How about the other way around, merging Blind golf to Disability classification in golf? Disability classification in golf seems to be the more general term, and includes at least one other category, its usage in Paralympic competition, as well as blind golf.
