[edit]There's also an Edwin Taylor who's a quite well known physicist: http://www.eftaylor.com/ . I think this needs a disambig page.--76.81.180.3 03:35, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
- For the moment I've made the distinction between the two in a link at the top of the page, which is the recommended way of disambiguating. If there is enough information to write a biography about Edwin F. Taylor then please go ahead and do so; we can then work out which page should be under which title. The result of the move request was: consensus to move the page to Edwin Taylor (British politician), per the discussion below. Although this wasn't formatted as a multimove request (because the dab didn't exist at the time), also moving the disambiguation page to Edwin Taylor per this discussion. Edwin Taylor → Edwin Taylor (British politician) – Per the hatnote, there are at least three articles about Edwin Taylors on Wikipedia. The British politician's article is viewed much less (275 views in 90 days) than the American physicist's (755 views) and not that much more than the American politician's (151 views). I don't actually know whether the British Edwin Taylor is more well-known as a British politician or as a baker, but I'm guessing that he's better known as a British politician. Possibly the British politician has a greater indication of long-term historical importance than the other two Edwin Taylors, but that does not seem entirely clear, and probably not sufficiently so to justify primary topic status. —BarrelProof (talk) 21:20, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
