Why the recent edit removing the self-description?

Why was this edit made? --TS 13:31, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like an unnecessarily self-serving description, already available on the group's own website.--Egmonster 06:35, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Questionable claims

[edit]

Today I removed a contentious phrase, together with its footnote, contributed by Emperor Zhark. (That diff includes cleanup edits by others.) Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof: please provide (WP:PROVEIT) more WP:Neutral Point of View wording and links to specific documentation (WP:CITE) for your allegations about subsidised fronting for a rival industry. If true, it is very important to include this information in the article, but calling it "well-known" (arrant weasel words!) and linking to an industry discussion list without giving a reference to any specific article to support your claim, does not inspire trust. I researched an updated address for this dead-linked Canadian Nuclear List you cite, and I even signed up for access, but neither your Morgan Brown link nor the similar external link at the bottom of the article (previously contributed by ASCIIn2Bme) seem to reference any particular item among that list's two decades of archives. --Egmonster (talk) 10:48, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
