[edit]The site which is referenced at the bottom of this page: http://homepage.mac.com/cparada/GML/Ganymedes.html gives Ganymede as Erichtonius' grandson, son of his son Tros. This is the consensus of most literature. Please cite where Ganymede is said to be Erichtonius' own son.
eri- is an intensifier, not from eris, which is a d- stem; genitive eridos. See LSJ. Septentrionalis 02:48, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
Incorrect parentage for Tros?
[edit]The diagram shows Ilus as the father of Tros. Shouldn't his father be Erichtonius (Iliad, book XX)? --Tripack15 11:43, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
