At the 1990 Commonwealth Games, the Triathlon was a demonstration events, won by Erin Baker (women) and Rick Wells (men), both from New Zealand.

Erin Baker was also running in the womens’ 10,000m in 1990 against Anne Audain, Barbara Moore, & Anne Hannah. She competed in the 1990 Commonwealth Games in a demonstration Triathlon, but did not get a medal at those games, see Athletes of the Century: 100 years of New Zealand track and field by Heidenstrom (and the Triathlon was not a Commonwealth Games event until 2002) hence I have amended the 1990 references.
