Quotes has the Erma Bombeck quote for the football game slightly different.

Anybody who watches three games of football in a row should be declared brain dead.

Do anyone know which one is correct? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk) 12:28, 16 February 2007 (UTC).

Perhaps they're both correct? In thousands of columns, several books, hundreds of TV appearances, several TV episodes, untold numbers of interviews, perhaps she worded a particular sentiment in a slightly different manner on one occasion or another. ;) It's close enough that I say just leave it. Whew! The language in this article was horrendous![edit]

With all due respect to whoever wrote the bulk of this article (that would be "2008ana"), that person clearly is not a native English-speaker. If English is your second language, please have someone edit what you write before you post it on Wikipedia! Anyway, I've fixed the situation, though it took a long long time, and involved every sentence of the entire article. Whew! Softlavender (talk) 08:46, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
