Sydney Olympic FC

[edit]

An editor has repeatedly inserted information about the subject's alleged signing to Sydney Olympic FC. However, the editor asserts (in an edit summary[1]) that the source for this information is Facebook. See Reliable sources and WP:FACEBOOK for information on why Facebook is not generally considered a reliable source. The editor has engaged in edit warring with another editor on this edit.

Please do not reinsert this information without being able to cite (here in Talk if not within the article) a reliable source for the information. Once it appears in a RS, any attempt to suppress the information from the article will be inappropriate, but until that time the information must not be published here since it is effectively only a rumor.
