Eve Arnold's biography is weak and most notable is a lack of photographs, of her and her work, although they may be hard to obtain. A recent book entitled Eve Arnold's People updates us as to her status - as of this writing she is in her nineties living in a London nursing home and too weak to hold a camera. I tried updating her information some but had trouble with the citation format - still working on that. Can anybody help? I would imagine if she can be contacted that she would consent to the use of a photo of herself although Magnum might have all rights tied up?

She had a unique relationship with Marilyn Monroe. She states that Monroe wanted her to be a "mother figure" which Arnold declined and there are supposedly photographs of Monroe which Arnold has not released based on a promise to Monroe that she would not. So, she kept that promise. I will try to include this information later as time permits.
