Tag Titles
[edit]Hello whos the idoit that said Batista never won a WWE Tag title. He won it at Unforgiven with Ric Flair and if your talking about the tag titles on Smackdown he won it with Mysterio and defended it at Armageddon 2005.
Im changing IT ok.
Trivia
[edit]What happen to the section where the trivia and facts were?

Reform?
[edit]Who edited in a reform in the beginning of the article? Ric Flair and Batista are on Smackdown, not Raw. And just because Batista came to the ring to assist his old friend does not meen that the stable is reformed. Plus, they were a heel stable, not a face one. I'm changing it back. Accomplishments

it should be noted that
[edit]at this moment batista and Orton are the highest champions —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.149.55.60 (talk) 23:23, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

- I think he means they have the top belt on both shows. It didn't happen while in Evolution so it shouldn't be noted here. - DrWarpMind 12:18, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

The result of the proposal was oppose move --SRX 21:35, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- Shorter and simpler. iMatthew (talk) 14:09, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose - bad quantifier, to avoid disam, quantifiers should be about the subject not the company the subject was in.--SRX 14:38, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose - if there was an Evolution stable in TNA, I would see the purpose, but there isn't therefore I don't see the purpose of this. D.M.N. (talk) 14:42, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
- Then maybe to Evolution (stable). Would you title an article Disturbia (music) or Disturbia (song). So then, why call it Evolution (professional wrestling) when the article is about a stable, not professional wrestling itself. iMatthew (talk) 14:53, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well, a "stable" is something about horses and is the most recognized term versus stable (professional wrestling). Also, there is a distinct difference between music and song.SRX 14:57, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
- That was my point. Then maybe Evolution {professional wrestling stable}. That's long - but otherwise it's wrong. iMatthew (talk) 15:05, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

- But, look at the article for the Beautiful People. That has (professional wrestling) in it as well. Besides, like D.M.N. said, if TNA were to name a stable Evolution, then this would be a good move. And, what SRX said also. When you mention stables, the first thing that comes to mind are horses. So, that's why it isn't a good move. So, I oppose this move per above. SAVIOR_SELF.777 06:50, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- What about "Evolution (professional wrestling faction)" iMatthew (talk) 11:30, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose - I could see it if there was a stable in TNA that was also named Evolution, we should keep the name like that. --Brothers of destruction (talk) 18:02, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- Still Oppose another example is the nWo. Yet again, the (professional wrestling) appears at the bottom. Also, the Alliance. Same ending. If we were to move Evolution, wouldn't we have to move all the other articles about stables that have (professional wrestling) at the end as well? SAVIOR_SELF.777 22:56, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

Christian
[edit]Someone has added that Christian was briefly a part of Evolution. I am going to revert this, as there are no references for this. Anyone who CAN find some, please add? Thanks. Lemon Demon (talk) 21:52, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
Date of formation
[edit]The current listing for the formation/debut of Evolution is February 3, 2003. This is not true. While the faction was named "Evolution" on that date, the group first debuted on the January 20, 2003 edition of RAW. The following episode (1/27/03), Triple H even spoke that foursome had formed the week before, though without a name at the time. On the reference given for the date of formation, it is even listed as "January, 2003." (saint0wen (talk) 04:11, 25 May 2012 (UTC))
Rollins defection
[edit]We have several IPs and several registered editors (autoconfirmed status unknown) adding the new member of Rollins without a source confirming his membership, this was left vague on WWE TV tonight as to whether he is a pawn or an actual new member of Evolution. I have, as a result, requested at least a semi-protection on WP:RFP until this matter is resolved. I believe we need to wait until a source provides confirmation of the defection which is different than just the betrayal. Do we wait, or add it now? CRRaysHead90 | #RaysUp 08:48, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
- UPDATE: The page has been fully protected by Shirik until the discussion concludes or June 10th, whichever arrives first. CRRaysHead90 | #RaysUp 09:01, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
- Add it. Reliable source --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 14:28, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
- I don't think we can safely use a non-primary source for this one, because only WWE knows the true fate of Rollins: pawn or new member? And thus far WWE has been mum, though that will likely change at tapings tonight. CRRaysHead90 | #RaysUp 19:56, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
- I agree completely with CRRaysHead90. PWInsider are speculating just as much as anyone else. The only reliable source is WWE. — Richard BB 21:45, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

SD spoilers -> it's going to have to wait until the next Raw. Lousy explanation from Rollins. Poor hotshot booking throwing logic (and build) out of the window. starship.paint "YES!" 02:09, 4 June 2014 (UTC)
Decision time
[edit]Considering the lack of information from the SmackDown taping and Raw's ending this week, I move to keep any mention of Rollins joining Evolution out of Wikipedia mainspace as a whole until Raw airs and/or more light is shed. It's simply speculation and OR to add it sooner. CRRaysHead90 | #RaysUp
- I agree completely. Even the above "spoiler" makes no mention of him being part of Evolution. — Richard BB 17:44, 4 June 2014 (UTC)
- I agree. I will throw this out there though... https://www.facebook.com/wwe/photos/a.63953746442.86152.7175346442/10152171603621443/?type=1 Not proof or anything, but it seems they're heading that way. srsrox BlahBlahBlah... 20:39, 5 June 2014 (UTC)
- I think there's been adequate time for discussion on this and no complaints, so I'm going to remove the protection on the page. If the war recurs without discussion from non-autoconfirmed addresses, then I'll instate semiprotection. --Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 00:31, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Evolution (professional wrestling)
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Evolution (professional wrestling)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship
[edit]Randy Orton wasn't WWE World Heavyweight Champion since he was part of Evolution, he lost that title at WrestleMania, and later become member of Evolution. PD: sorry my english. --WikiDiego91 (talk) 00:12, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
