Probable Starting Lineup[edit]

Surely this is just someone's opinion of the probable starting line-up, and does not conform to the Wikipedia:Neutral point of view policy. Cursive 04:23, 31 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Reply[edit]

I can't say I truly knew that, but the sole purpose of it is to give some clue to the people who have little to no idea about the team of how the starting lineup looks like. It was commonly agreed by most (if not all) National newspapers that this was to be the probable starting eleven...and it quite has been, as long as some players weren't injured.

I took the liberty of "reasearching" other pages before doing this one, as it is my first contribution to wikipedia. The starting eleven box I saw at the Real Madrid page. It differs in the fact that "Proposed starting lineup" is the headline instead of "Probable". And probable definitely isn't certain.

But if any of these points I tried to make are unfounded, then I wonder whether I can simply say "Starting Lineup against X" team, this being the first game of the season.

  • The Real Madrid one has exactly the same problems - there should be a NPOV thing there as well and it has been removed a couple of times (some stubborn person who comes back with different IP addresses comes back and replaces it all the time. I think the Starting lineup against X would be fine. Cursive 12:17, 31 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move[edit]

To: FCU Politehnica Timisoara.

This is the club's name beginning of this season.

Establishment date[edit]

How can a club established in 2002 can claim honours prior 2002?

Adding External Link to Liga1 Homepage[edit]

Remove links to made for adsense sites, and old blogs which are returning 404. Add link to point to the impartial, factual portal for liga 1 at liga1.gamebookers.com - link should point to club page for relevancy. adrian recordings (talk) 00:31, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV issues[edit]

The article is full of POV commentary such as

  • "The 2004/2005 campaign had been dramatic for the team"
  • "However, the rather poor start of the season led to"
  • "2006/2007 started off on the same mediocre note"

etc etc. Active Banana (talk) 00:16, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional page[edit]

It's a promotional page for BkP. No citation. The history before 2004 is expedited in few lines, the one after 2004 is too detailed. No information about the name dispute between the actual owners and the previous ones. 78.97.151.235 (talk) 20:53, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This problem was solved. Acornboy (talk) 15:06, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

On 7 December 2012, Nicolae Robu, mayor of Timișoara, announced that ACS Poli has recieved for free from Marian Iancu, FC Politehnica Timișoara's badge, history, records and colours. And that it can use them starting with the following season, 2013-14. Do we merge the two clubs now or at the start of the following season? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vlad9 (talkcontribs) 19:22, 7 December 2012
