Images
[edit]Having difficulty finding free-use images for this article, especially for historical material. As an alternative, I've included links to specimen records from the Cordwainers College collection of historical footwear as references. Biffthree (talk) 18:45, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

[edit]After some initial difficulties, changed all web references to standardized Wikipedia template. Biffthree (talk) 04:00, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
External links
[edit]I removed two links from the External links section per WP:EL.
- http://www.bethlevineshoes.com/ seems like pure spam to me. WP:ELNO reason #5.
- http://coololdstuff.com/gogoboots.html does not add any material that cannot be incorporated into the article with it as a source. WP:ELNO reason #1.
Please discuss if you want to reinstate them. --Muhandes (talk) 07:03, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

2017: Year of the Boot II: Bring Back the pointed toes.
[edit]2017 would be the year of the boot Part II. We must bring back stylish early-mid 2000s boots with pointed toes, so 2017 would be the new 2001.
