Catchment

Can I suggest that the Fitzroy River Basin has a catchment area of "approximately" 150,000 km2, its actualy about 145,600 km2 I will verify this and provide a reference.

I am pleased to see a wikipedia entry for the Fitzroy and I presume other rivers of Australia. I have started my first wp account to help with fleshing out the information for this page which I think is a wonderful way to put together a central point for information about the Fiztroy catchment. As I am brand new to this, and have only read the basics on editing and protocols, I will stop there, and start to gather some information and references and original photos to help with this page. I also have an original image I took of the saltwater crocodile caught in 2003 and mentioned in the fauna section, I will be willing to post this picture on the page - once I work out how to Rocky bob (talk) 11:06, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
