I have never seen this cartoon, but: how can the character be in the category "Fictional Anglicans", when she is listed as being a Catholic in the summary panel? 23:03, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

"the miracle of marijuana"

[edit]

This text appears somewhere in the "Biography" section: During the rest of high school, she was said to have been "very depressed," until she found the miracle of marijuana. This sounds incredibly biased. Don't get me wrong, I'm as liberal as they come, but surely pro-drug phrases are not appropriate on Wikipedia? Gay15boy (talk) 10:42, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's debatable whether or not the exact phrase stated was in an episode but we need a citation for what episode it was. Djskein79 23:33, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I put the phrase in quotes, to make it more npov. Stargate70 (talk) 18:08, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I remember watching this episode. I'm not sure if she used the word "miracle," but I don't really have a problem with it. They were making for her drug use in high school and referenced it in some form like that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.123.225.163 (talk) 18:19, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Political viewpoint and organization.

[edit]

The article lists that Francine seems to have more Moderate views than her husband. The article sems to indicate that since Francine "has chastised Stan a few times on his homophobia and his sexism and racism" she is not showing a purely Conservative point of view; however, nothing about Conservativism requires sexism, racism, or homophobia.

Opposing gay marraige tends to be driven in those circles by religious viewpoints, not homophobia. Also, Francine's a woman, and sexism would easily be a subject affecting her. The point being, Francine's position as being more Moderate than Stan has yet to be seen in the series. She may be just a normal Conservative woman.

That being said, this whole article suffers from organization issues and needs to be revamped. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.72.227.83 (talk) 05:05, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
