Is he Dutch or German born in the Netherlands? I know he was born in Amsterdam, but his last name is German. Norum 14 Nov. 2006 18:40 EST

I was under the assumption that he was Dutch, but he may be an ethnic German born in the Netherlands. I'll look into it. Manticore126

Sometimes a place of birth can be just a coincidence. I know some Poles that were born outside Poland, mostly in Germany, France, Belgium or England, but that was due because their families were moving to Canada and they were just norn along the way. Thanks for checking. Norum 14 Nove. 2006

Raise the hammer

In reviewing this source it is unclear as to why this would be an independent news source. The ownership of the web site is unclear and I did not read anything on the site about adhering to any kind of journalistic ethics. Further, for all we know the site is funded by a political interest group. Any thoughts on this? Alan.ca (talk) 11:38, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think it would be best if we used information that was written by an independent third party. Basic information about the mayor's age and background should be ok from his own publisher. Alan.ca 15:39, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
OK Alan sounds pretty good.  Nhl4hamilton | Chit-Chat

Assessment comment

[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Fred Eisenberger/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

It contains some citations for Eisenberger's point of view on an issue and some election commentary. However, the details of his biography, about him specifically, are lacking and what is included is completely unsourced. The article needs a picture, I will try to take one at a council meeting if someone can't finangle one off the mayor's office. It could use a fresh set of eyes on the overall format of the article.
