I don't think there is an icecream called "Kokoskon". I think it was invented for the purpose of the parody. At least I can't find it on GB's website. Uppland 18:30, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I think you're right. All Google hits for "Kokoskon" are for sites about the parody, not for the ice cream itself. JIP | Talk 04:48, 25 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I agree as well. The linked image also appears to be a pretty obvious Photoshop job, but is an interesting parody of sorts. —RaD Man (talk) 04:59, 25 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Since this article was added to the "See also" section of the nigger article, does this mean that the "Nogger" ice cream bar is made fun of or is controversially similar to nigger, or is there just a coincidence that prompted it to be added to see also? If there is no reason for nogger to be added to "see also" in the nigger article, it should be removed. --SuperDude 04:00, 2 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The Nogger is most probably referencing the fact that it contains nougat. It's just overzealous lawyers with too much time on their hands who goes around making connections like that. It's enough to make you wonder who's really the racist... 81.233.196.49 (talk) 13:02, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nogger is not just nougat alone but also a slang variant of "Nuss" or "Nüsschen". Nuss is german for "nut" and I believe the nogger typically also has small nut-like particles. See also the german wikipedia https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nogger - swedish is not quite like german but to some extent, some words are semi-similar. "nogger neu" has been branded 1964 in Germany. Other than the name similarity, it really has nothing at all to do with racism in the slightest. 2A02:8388:1600:3280:BE5F:F4FF:FECD:7CB2 (talk) 19:13, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Currently expanding the article and just saw this discussion. In accordance with the opinions voiced here and with WP:NOTNEWS I'll merge the current section with the history when I get to it. That seems to be the right place. --Tec Tom (talk) 14:27, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
