Statistics

[edit]

I changed the format of the numbers in the statistics section, as they had decimal points instead of commas for the numbers over 999 (ie, 1.000 instead of 1,000). This made them appear to be much smaller values than they really are. 00iddy (talk) 05:54, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Games Convention vs. Gamescom

[edit]

Isn't the GC (Leipzig) not sth. different than the Gamescom (Cologne). I think both events will be exist in 2009 (Gamescom in August, GC in August, too). But don't look for information about this in german version of wikipedia. There are as few information as in the english one. --84.171.112.135 (talk) 17:39, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Games Convention, the biggest show on the calendar for the last two years, also undergoes meaty changes in 2009. The German event moves from Leipzig to Cologne - better travel access, accommodation - and has been renamed GAMESCom by the new organisers.

Games Convention has been pushed back from mid-August to September, too. This puts even more distance between itself and E3, hopefully increasing the likelihood of three platform holder conferences and less duplicate game demonstrations.

Thats wrong. GamesCom is the name of a new fair. Some of the organizers(BUI) of Games Convetion stopped coloboration with leipzig and Games Convetion. BUI will be the organizer of the GamesCom. The Games Convention will still exist in 2009 (read here: [0[0]=YToxOntzOjg6InJlZGlyZWN0IjtiOjE7fQ==] ) 141.63.56.202 (talk) 18:25, 28 October 2008 (UTC) PS: I am from Leipzig and i read about it in the news (in german)[reply]

The Games Convention as we know it is not happening in 2009. According to the people in charge, it will only take place as 'Games Convention Online' this year. I'm sure that once GAMESCom fails miserably they'll beg the Games Convention supporters back in a flash. 71.14.182.43 (talk) 17:05, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Redirection

[edit]

Please remove the redirection of GAMESCom to Games Convention. These two have nothing to do with each other. This will confuse even more. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.77.59.5 (talk) 13:28, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Major change

[edit]

I'm gonna remodel the page to add the confirmed games and place the official logo. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tomkoolen (talkcontribs) 18:33, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
