Polish clubs were not permitted to take part in the competition
[edit]I believe that the Polish clubs were disbanded in 1939.Xx236 (talk) 11:48, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
Wilhelm Góra joined Polish Army in the West and wasn't allowed to return to Poland. Some other players (DSTG Krakau) lived in Poland after the war.Xx236 (talk) 12:14, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
Gaps and errors
[edit]This article needs a complete revision. It is obviously based on fragmentary publications from the 1990s, which are repeated in many Internet statistics. However, the original source material has now been digitised and is available online. I will improve and supplement this article step by step (I refer to the detailed presentation in the German-language Wikipedia, of which I am the main author).
