Gena's paternal grandfather, Daniel M. Rowlands, was the son of Welsh immigrants. Gena's paternal grandmother, Emma Rowlands, was the daughter of a Welsh mother. So, Gena's father was at least three-quarters Welsh, making Gena at least three-eighths Welsh. — Walloon07:51, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No info on the Welsh part... Just wondering why the movie Grace & Glorie isn't listed here? Gena Rowlands was INCREDIBLE in that movie. Since that movie I will watch any movie that has either one of them (Gena Rowlands or Diane Lane). Gena was Gloria and Diane was Grace. I love them both in any role--but that was the movie that hooked me permanently as a fan for both of those fabulous women!207.69.138.135 07:23, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
perhaps some mention should be made of the fact that there is a musical outfit going around calling itself "the gena rowlands band." apparently without her permission................ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.233.206.70 (talk) 01:32, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Why isn"t Frank Cassavetes listed as one of Gena Rowlands and John Cassavete's kids? Unless, he is not one of their kids. Frank Cassavetes had a small role in the Robert Duvall film "Assasination Tango." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.192.35.125 (talk) 17:07, 4 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
