This page needs to be condensed. Instead of a list of events it should read a little more prose-ish, IMO. Perhaps condense the events into per-decade, and remove non-important facts? Also needs some references. --MPW 06:49, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
You got that right. I did a relatively large cleanup and changed the year-by-year list format to a more condensed format. I also removed what appeared to be a lot of art-crufty trivia (like the mentions of each exhibit). Unfortunately, I'm not super-familiar with Baselitz's life and work, so I hope I didn't take out anything really important. If anyone who is familar with him can think of better eras to break the sections into, please do. Natalie 21:46, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
