Additional information[edit]

There ought to be some info on this character. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sasquatchuk (talkcontribs)

The date of Cornell's death is given as 1965 and 1966. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs)

1966 seems to be correct. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs)

There seem to be two George Cornell's. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs)

The Ojibwe American Indian George Cornell, born in 1948, is the one referred to in "What links here". —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs)

More Confusion[edit]

This article states that George Cornell was a childhood friend of the Krays, yet The Richardson Gang article says they had first met while in Shepton Mallet Prison. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 09:28, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Although this aka was also mentioned in A Profession of Violence, what was Cornell's name at birth? Was Myers a later pseudonym? There was a large and well-established East End family of Cornell around then, who were locally well-known as persistent criminals, and I have it on very good authority - albeit personal and there not citable - that he certainly had an unmistakeable familial resemblance - and was given a rough genealogy too Plutonium27 (talk) 21:30, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Removal of Text[edit]

' The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore by The Walker Brothers; after Cornell was shot, the record stuck on the words "anymore...anymore".'

This is pointless and unproven, it should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 12:56, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

The Widows[edit]

An inaccuracy in the text states that the Grave Maurice was also known as "the widows". I think the widows was actually The Lion in Tapp Street.
